OUR STORY
As a young girl, I had a red box, playfully decorated with moons and stars in glittery silver paint. I took it everywhere, filling it with everything — and I mean everything. Rocks, shells, moths, olive pips. (I was six, after all.)
It was my magic box, and the silver moon and stars were the shiniest things I owned.
Every evening, I would reluctantly plant myself on the box upside down in my γιαγιά’s kitchen, and she would wait — expectantly, impatiently — as I recited the Greek alphabet.
Alpha…
Beta…
Gamma…
Delta…
Then, on Epsilon - I would jump up, squeal, and run away from her!
She would chase me around the house, hard slipper in hand. I was much faster than her.
“κακό κοριτσάκι!” (naughty girl!) she would call after me.
Eventually, I would relent, return to my seat, and finish the alphabet.
When the idea of starting a jewellery line came up, Epsilon was the very first name that came to mind.
It’s a wonderful word.
In mathematics, it represents a very small positive number.
In physics, it speaks to the union of three separate elements.
In philosophy, it symbolises something small that leads to bigger things — a spark.
For me, it represents
- the tiny, infinitesimal passion that began in my childhood,
- my grandmother’s kitchen; connecting to family, culture and heritage,
- the simple truth that from little things, big things grow.
Our jewels may be small, but we hope they spark something big in you.

Greek-Australian Designs
We craft both original Greek-Australian designs and carefully selected essential pieces that reflect the rich, diverse life of our founder, Kris Lloyd AM. Kris’s journey as a business owner, mother, grandmother, award-winning cheesemaker, nature lover, and proud Greek is woven into the inspiration behind many of our pieces.
Each creation is thoughtfully designed and in our Adelaide studio by Kris. The design process begins with initial sketches, followed by multiple samples and iterations, where it is then sent to our all-female team of jewellery artisans who craft the piece.
This dedicated process guarantees that all our jewellery—whether original or thoughtfully selected—is made to last, offering you pieces that are as unique as they are enduring.
